Field answer
Pax Autocratica is scheduled to enter Early Access on August 10, 2026, but the official Steam page still showed Coming Soon during our August 10 check. Multiverse announced an 8:00 AM PT / 11:00 AM ET unlock, regional launch prices and a two-week discount. The launch build is described as containing the complete colony-to-combat loop; co-op is a hoped-for future feature, not a launch promise.

OFFICIAL GAMEPLAY · STEAMLaunch price and unlock schedule
Multiverse's July 22 announcement lists launch prices of US$29.99, €29.99, £24.99 and ¥108 RMB. It also announces a 17% launch discount for the first two weeks. These are announcement values rather than a claim about every localized checkout; consult the live Steam store for the final amount in your account region.
The same announcement schedules the unlock for August 10 at 8:00 AM PT / 11:00 AM ET, 4:00 PM BST, 5:00 PM CEST and 11:00 PM in China and Singapore. Japan and South Korea cross the date boundary at midnight on August 11.
What the launch build is meant to contain
Multiverse describes the Early Access version as a substantial playable build rather than a tutorial-only slice. The official store copy names many soldier types, weapons, buildings and cores, plus the complete loop between colony management and first-person expeditions. That loop is the safest way to understand the product: build and stabilize the colony, equip an expedition, fight beside soldiers, return with resources or captives, then feed those results back into the settlement.
The store also promises both small and large battle contexts, including infantry, vehicles, mechs and layered projectile threats. Those categories are verified; exact quantities, unlock routes and balance rankings are not published here before hands-on Early Access verification.
What changes during Early Access
The stated plan is to add more content to both colony and combat systems. Balancing matters because many systems interact: citizen needs, assignments, production, policies, expedition preparation, captures and roguelite cores all affect different parts of the same run. Player feedback will influence which areas receive the most attention.
Co-op belongs in this future-direction section. It is not part of the confirmed single-player launch feature list and should not be used as a purchase promise.
What differs from the Prologue
The Prologue is an intentionally limited slice. Its official page says it has a smaller base and battle scale, no deeper automation, no mechs and no later-game mechanics. Historical quantity comparisons can explain the scale difference, but they are not used here as current Early Access totals until the unlocked build is checked.
Before you rely on a guide
Check the Last Checked panel on version-sensitive pages. Guidance about ultrawide behavior, controller support, saves and launch performance can become stale faster than system explanations. When an official announcement changes a fact, this field manual updates the source record and modified date instead of silently preserving launch-day wording.
FAQ
Is Pax Autocratica in Early Access now?
Not at our latest August 10 check. Steam still displayed Coming Soon and an unlock countdown. Multiverse schedules the unlock for August 10 at 8:00 AM PT / 11:00 AM ET, 4:00 PM BST, 5:00 PM CEST, 11:00 PM in China and Singapore, and August 11 at midnight in Japan and South Korea.
Does Pax Autocratica launch with co-op?
No launch co-op is confirmed. Multiverse says co-op is a major feature it hopes to develop during Early Access, which is a direction rather than a guarantee or release window.
How long will Early Access last?
The developer currently expects approximately two years, while explicitly noting that development progress and player feedback can change that timeframe.
